Now, as fintech, AI, and blockchain continue to evolve at breakneck speed, he\u2019s at the forefront, pushing the boundaries of what\u2019s possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this exclusive interview, we discuss his early career, the technologies set to redefine finance, and how AI is reshaping the future of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:28px\"><strong>A Fast Start in Fintech<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlike many developers who enter fintech after years of experience, Orins\u2019 journey began almost immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI first encountered Modex at a hackathon they sponsored,\u201d he recalls. \u201cOne of their executives recognised my potential and invited me to intern with them, which led to a full-time offer.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joining a fast-moving industry at such a young age came with challenges, but he saw it as an advantage. \u201cMy flexibility and openness to new ideas helped me quickly adapt to shifting paradigms.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By 2022, his work had earned him a place on&nbsp;<em>Forbes Romania\u2019s 30 Under 30<\/em>&nbsp;list. Reflecting on what set him apart, he credits his \u201cnatural curiosity\u201d and \u201cactive involvement in entrepreneurial circles,\u201d alongside a drive to push the boundaries of what technology can achieve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:28px\"><strong>The Technologies Redefining Finance<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The fintech and blockchain landscape has seen rapid transformation over the past few years, but what\u2019s next?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAI is key,\u201d Orins says. \u201cIt can make technology more accessible by customising experiences to the user\u2019s level of understanding, overcoming language barriers, and providing intuitive, universal interfaces. The result? A more inclusive and user-friendly evolution.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most exciting applications of AI in financial services, he notes, is the rise of AI-powered personal finance agents. \u201cThese tools can offer tailored financial advice, automate routine tasks, and even monitor spending patterns\u2014empowering users to make more informed decisions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Still, as AI\u2019s influence grows, so does the debate around regulation. While some advocate for stricter oversight, Orins takes a different stance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI believe that, at present, AI regulation should remain relatively light. The benefits of rapid innovation far outweigh the risks,\u201d he argues. Pointing to California\u2019s now-infamous AI bill as an example of restrictive legislation that could stifle progress, he suggests a more balanced approach: \u201cThe UK\u2019s model, which focuses on regulating specific use cases, might be more effective.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:28px\"><strong>AI\u2019s Impact on Developers and the Business of Tech<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond finance, AI is also transforming the way developers work. Tools like GitHub Copilot are reshaping software engineering, and Orins sees the shift firsthand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a learning curve in getting used to these tools,\u201d he admits. \u201cBut as developer-AI interfaces improve, that barrier will shrink.\u201d Interestingly, he predicts an industry-wide shift towards open-source frameworks. \u201cBecause AI models are trained on open data, developers using open-source tools gain a productivity advantage. That could push more companies to open-source their tools to stay competitive.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He personally treats AI as \u201ca knowledgeable colleague\u201d that helps him save time on repetitive tasks, allowing him to focus on creative problem-solving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for fintech\u2019s future, the relationship between traditional banks and blockchain-based solutions remains a key question. Will banks embrace decentralised finance (DeFi), or will they hold back?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI believe that the very existence of decentralised solutions serves as a powerful motivator for banks to innovate,\u201d he says. \u201cWhether they adopt blockchain or create alternative solutions doesn\u2019t matter as much as the end result\u2014a more enhanced and accessible financial experience for consumers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:28px\"><strong>Staying Ahead in a Fast-Paced Industry<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>With technology evolving at an unprecedented pace, how does Orins stay ahead of the curve?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI nurture a deep passion and curiosity for emerging technologies,\u201d he says. \u201cI constantly seek to understand how new innovations work and where they can be applied.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For young developers looking to break into fintech and blockchain, his advice is clear: focus on AI. \u201cIts potential is vast, and it\u2019s opening up a world of exciting opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, what\u2019s next?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m keen to explore AI-driven workflows that can enhance both personal and professional productivity.
